From the donor: "Best of my knowledge and hearsay through my mother, Elsie Mildred Kennedy Lawrence, the picture belonged to her mother, Pearl Evelyn Noyes Kennedy. It was painted by her brother's son. Brother being Carl Leroy Noyes b. 1884 d. ? (Nephew) Brother's son Robert Noyes who I have no idea where he resided. I believe at one time Carl or possibly Robert may have live in N.H. at some point. Not sure."Collection
