Top hat of conventional form; stamped inside of bottom in gold, "Dearborn/26 Market St. Portsmouth/ N.H." with eagle at top and crossed laurel leaves, below; with applied tape on the inside reading, in pencil in script, "James A. Bragdon," possibly for the owner. Sold by Frank E. Dearborn (1839-1912)
