Small painting, part of Harlow's "Portsmouth Doorway" series, depicting front door or the home of Langley Boardman on Middle Street, depicting brown paneled front door with columnar portico, arched window above, flanked by six-over-six windows with green shutters; iron railing at side of steps and in front of house. Inscribed on back: "BOARDMAN-MARVIN / DOORWAY" above "LANGLEY BOARDMAN HOUSE / MIDDLE ST."
