Large oil painting portrait of Thomas Tredick. Thomas Tarlton Tredick (1799-1888) was a Portsmouth merchant with a store on Market St. He was the son of Capt. Henry Tredick. His home was across from the present-day Rockingham Hotel, on State. Appears to be signed at lower left (proper right).
