Silk and satin quilt multi-colors in the fan pattern. Source: Mrs. Abbot (Eleanor) Brown. Brown gave this gift on August 10, 1988. Quilt made c.1860 by Mrs. George Dana Brown (nee Rhoda Jane Fogg) (1837-1919). Given in memory of Mrs. Andrew (Bessie Brown) Dorian and Mrs. James S. (Josephine) Brown Manuel Jr., granddaughters of Rhoda Jane Brown. Mrs. Abbot (Eleanor) Brown is the sister-in-law of Mrs. Andrew Dorian and Mrs. James S. Brown Manuel Jr.
