Scope and Content

This is a 13 page booklet about the legend of the probable kidnapping of Lucy Keyes by Indians in Princeton Mass. It contains the story itself, photographs of Wachusett Mountain from the east and Wachusett Mountain and the Lake from the north, a map of the farm of Robert Keyes, and a possible alternative to the kidnapping theory, which is that a Keyes neighbor, Tilly Littlejohn beat the child to death and hid her body in a log. The confession of Mr Littlejohn is, however, third hand information.
