Name/Title
Andrew on Crane, Provincetown HarborEntry/Object ID
3177.044.Ph22Description
Ecstatically, Andrew jumps into Provincetown waters. His arms and legs are spread wide like a little kid inaugurating the water on their first day of summer vacation.
Brian Bowen Smith’s photograph captures the carefree experience found in Provincetown. No matter who one is, this maritime town welcomes them with open arms. Andrew’s euphoric display demonstrates how it feels to be part of a community that uplifts one another. Spirits rise. Authenticity ripens. One no longer feels the need to hide behind their societally-issued mask.Acquisition
