Vernon Cheek taught photography for many years at Purdue University and has now been distinguished as a professor emeritus by the institution. Recently, Professor Cheek has been awarded a Fulbright grant to teach photography in India. Prof. Cheek’s works are a part of many presitigious collections around the United States, including the Art Institute of Chicago and the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago.
