Description

The image captures the ruins of Pompeii with Mt. Vesuvius in the background. The town had stone built housings, cobble roads, and a couple roofed buildings. What is left in this image is deteriorating walls and a lifeless town. There is no one within the walls, no one on the road, and no signs of life within the town besides the architecture. The volcano that destroyed the city looms in the background of the image.
