Description

The piece is titled, "Our Cancer Year (Four Walls Eight Windows, 1994)" and it was written by Joyce Brabner and Harvey Pekar. This is a non-fiction comic that tells the story of Harvey overcoming cancer and his journey with his wife Joyce. Our Cancer Year was illustrated by Frank Stack (he also goes by Foolbert Sturgeon). This page describes a scene mainly of Joyce distraught by a call from a person named Dana. Later in the comic Joyce is distraught from the call Dana gives her and she is left dazed from the backlash.
