Description

Two Maori symbols printed on a fabric like background. Largest image is in black which has a face of a human with stripes running from the eyes to the chin. The face has bared teath and focused eyes. The body is rib-like with what may be the sternum of a skeleton as the torso. The body has no appendages in the form of hands, legs or feet. Below this image in penci lis "9/20 IMP, "MADE IN AOTEROA" Michael Samuel/05." In the upper right hand corner in red is an image that has the appearance of a bird-like face and body. Below it is printed "AOTEROA"
