Brass four folding icon with blue and white enamel detailing. The front of the icon shows the Cross of Golgatha, or the tri-bar Orthodox cross with red and blue enameling. The panel on the far right shows the veneration of the four important icons of the Mother of God (Hodegetria, Kazan, Vladimir, and the Mother of God of the Sign). Above is the "Praise of the Mother of God." The Elevation of the Cross is at the upper section of the first panel on the right and the Ascension of Christ appears on the first at left. The Crucifixion is at far left. Each panel has an onion dome cut at the top.Acquisition

This brass polyptych shows twenty scenes of church festivals. The scenes are divided into quadrants of four panels each, with the last four feasts occupying a reserved section at the top of each panel. These sections resemble the upper portion of iconostases visible in Orthodox churches. The first three panels (from the left) feature scenes of the twelve major Orthodox festivals. The fourth panel has scenes of festivals that include icons of the Virgin and Child. The remaining scenes occur in the arches at the top of the panels, and among them one sees the Resurrection
