Candace Nicole is currently working on her Master of Fine Arts degree at Boise State University. She received a Bachelors degree in Art at University of Nevada, Reno and has exhibited her work in Nevada, California, Idaho, Arizona, Montana, and New York. Much of her work explores the complexities of relationships and how one negotiates between daily experiences and the process of time and memory. Through her work, Nicole begins to challenge the traditions of printmaking by exploring new printmaking techniques and constructions. She combines various methods in order to represent the relationship between the conscious effort of remembering and the unconscious fragments that invade our memories.
