Description

Tintype of 3 women and 1 girl in front of tropical-like background suggestive of a garden scene. Two older women are seated with the girl behind them and a younger woman stands behind the young girl. The women are dressed in typical styles of the 1880s. The girl is hatless but it is held in her lap while she leans against the oldest woman (probably her grandmother) to her proper left. The other two women are likely her mother and either an older sister or and aunt.
