"Haladaj is a painter and graphic artist born in Piotrków, Poland. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz. Haladaj's work intends to leave the viewer unsettled, exploring an unexpressed subconsciousness of anxiety and tension. The subtle luminosity of this work is achieved by printing on translucent tracing paper. But its strength lies in the intricately designed facial structure, seemingly composed of or trapped within a woven thatching of grass or hair."
