Scott Ludwig (ART) will travel to Istanbul, Turkey, in March. He has been invited as an artist-in-residence at Robert College in Istanbul. He will assist faculty with the set-up of a printmaking program and direct a workshop in “hi-tech/low-tech” printmaking applications. Ludwig also will travel to Beatty, Nev., in April. As an artist-in-residence at Goldwell Open Air Museum, he will conduct creative research in Death Valley. He also was selected as the North Carolina State Representative in the May 2009 exhibition “20/20 Vision,” Second Edition - The Art of Contemporary University Printmaking at Firehouse Gallery, Louisville, Ga. Ludwig will exhibit work along with art department alumna Kimberly Anderson. - Appalachian State University News, 2/23/2009
