Walrus ivory and baleen necklace with two teams of carved ivory sled dogs and musher facing each other separated by a square piece of baleen strung on a double rubber elastic band; each end of the necklace terminates in 10 ivory beads and a round brass clasp; proper left clasp appears to be broken; hot print box with lid has cotton padding but is not accessioned, inside lid is stamped “Byck’s, Kentucky’s Great Name In Fashion, Downtown, St. Matthews, Oxmoor, Bashford Manor.”Collection
