"Mazen Hariri born in 1977, Beirut Lebanon. Mazen received his Bachelor of interior Architecture from the Lebanese University, Beirut, 2000. He received an award of excellence: First in 2000 graduate class majored and excelled in sceneograhpy. He is a musician, a graphic designer, painter, and an interior designer currently working at HQ Creative LLC. He is an active artist who has participated in Beirut Alive after War 1994, Martyrs square, first exhibition down town Beirut, and other events concerned with a social transformation. Under the patronage of the Lebanese University he was part of the exhibition in Cana (south of Lebanon), in memory of the Martyrs of Cana 1996, his works involve designing Gala nights, Children stages, festivals and street decorations. Living in The United Arab Emirates, his work becomes a reflection of a deeper alienation, an alienation that is within his own culture; despite his admiration for the fast growing metropolitan and cosmopolitan environment of Dubai, in his opinions simulacra is invading the inner space of his own heritage and changing the spirit of the Middle East in an oriental-zing manner."
