Scope and Content

Pages that show the design for "Cargo Airplane" by H. T. Nagamatsu, filed May 19, 1943 and patented October 23, 1945. The patent number in the US Patent Office is 2,387,527. Pages explaining the design and what makes it different from other plane designs is also included. Next to it is a page torn from "Mechanics Illustrated, 1952". It is the section "New in Science" and shows images of planes, a truck, and a pocket submarine. The paper is torn where the pocket submarine entry is, showcasing the entry for the "Sky Trailer by Fairchild" instead. Three pages of the archive are on display in a black display board. The back of the board is dark blue.
