Lynn Edgar Trank (1918- ) Born in Cook, Nebraska, Lynn Edgar Trank recieved his BFA degrees from the University of Nebraska and Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri. He was awarded the Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Iowa, and then recieved his PhD from Ohio State University, Athens, Ohio. Mr. Trank has exhibited extensively throughout the Mid-west and is the collections of the Josyln Art Museum, Omaha, the Evansville Museum of Art, the Sheldon Swope Gallery, Terre Haute, as well as the Philadelphia Library Print Collection. Architectonic Salute is a work on laid paper created with the collograph technoque. It was a gift of the artist to Purdue University in 1982.
