Painting on flat wooden panel backed in red velvet covered in silver riza encased in ornate wooden kiot with glass door. The painting features the face of Christ with long beard, hair, and hands raised in blessing gesture and holding an open gospel. He is clothed in robes engraved in floral motifs and an ornate raised riza encircles his head bearing the Greek symbols of Christ. The kiot has a wooden cross at the top with plant icons in either corner at the top. One has since broken off.Collection
