The entari or robe was the main element of women's dress worn in the Ottoman Empire. They were typically made with vertically striped fabric, ankle length with an opening at the front, and included a collar, long sleeves, and slits on both sides. Entaris were worn together with a chemise, or gömlek, and baggy trousers, or şalvar.
