Description

This statue was created to represent the class of 2000 at Purdue. It represents the passing of a new millennium into the year. It was originally named Vision 2000 by the class of 2000 (according to two articles in the Purdue Exponent). The sculpture seems to be made out of metal and bronze. In the center there is a diamond of metal, and it has two bases to the left and right securing it by an arch. The top arch is made from two pieces of metal that have lines in-between and connected by a turned metal square at the top. The base is made from a platform of 3 steps. Concrete lies below the piece with a plaque that states how it commemorates the piece from the class of 2020.
