Description

This ceramic sculpture depicts a scene of these miniature people hand building a hand. The hand itself is meticulously crafted showing the pieces where the original ceramicist carved to make it look like the mini people put the pieces together. It has a gold glaze and creases and carved and in the crevices there seem to be darker bits of the glaze. Two of the miniature people have blond hair and one has red hair. They are building the hand themselves. One has a hammer and the other is mounting a finger on. One is climbing the hand the other stands on a step ladder. The hand is being held down by strings and rope on a block base.
