"Loughney lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. He received his masters of fine arts degree from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University in 2006. He has worked in a variety of two-dimensional media including printmaking, drawing, painting and collage. The layered ghostly images suggest the Salem witch trials and the alienated experience of one young woman being tried under an imposing panel of judges."
