Description

Print of trees with lake in background; print is matted and framed by professional/commercial business. This seems to be an autumn scene in contrast to the other print scenes she creates winter scenes. This ink reduction print uses warm tones to mimic the reds, oranges and yellows of fall. The artist uses expressive mark making to show the movement of nature and create texture and value to make the piece more dynamic. A blue gradient reflects the sky and water against the bold, solid colors of the leaves and greenery. The black is used as an outline to highlight each shape nature creates.
