Paschke is a native of Chicago, Illinois. As a student at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where he  earned his BFA and MFA, he was  influenced by the work of Gauguin,  Picasso and Seurat.  Paschke’s work  of the 1970’s reflected society’s  subculture using images derived from  the electronic media.  Still teaching, Paschke is a professor in the Art and Theory Department at Northwestern University.   His work is shown in galleries  and museums throughout the world.
