People of the Door: Parshat Bo 2017 February 3Entry/Object ID
rdi-2017.02.03Scope and Content
Rabbi Ingber discusses the origins of the Mezuzah and the importance of doors to Jews throughout history. He discusses how in the Torah it explicitly states they needed to open their doors to immigrants and the others, even though it was frightening. He then, of course, compares that to the exclusion of immigrants in the United States and that they need to remember that, as Jews, they need to hold the door open for them.Archive Details
