Sermon : Parshat Mishpatim 2019 February 1Entry/Object ID
rdi-2019.02.01Scope and Content
The theme of the sermon is letting go of grudges and not holding resentments against others. Rabbi Ingber uses a line from the laundry list of laws to illustrate how the Torah teaches to do this. It says that if you see the donkey of your enemy stuck at the side of the road (broken down?), you are supposed to aid them. Whether you are doing it for them or for yourself is debatable, but the idea is to help everyone--even those you hate.Archive Details
