Sermon : Parshat Re'eh 2018 August 3Entry/Object ID
rdi-2018.08.03Scope and Content
Moses describes how God was good to everyone in the desert, and how their clothing never deteriorated and it grew with them as they grew. Rabbi Ingber points to Rashi who said that it was a metaphor for their souls growing and them becoming better people. He then gives three examples of how the Golden Rule can play out. Onat Dvarim, or reminding someone of their past mistakes is one, going out of one's comfort zone is another, and lastly withholding praise.Archive Details
