Sermon : Parshat Shelach 2018 June 08Entry/Object ID
rdi-2018.06.18Scope and Content
The theme of the sermon is "vision" and its importance in Judaism and in life, generally. Rabbi Ingber emphasizes the importance of seeing past the surface of things. He uses the story of Moses sending the heads of the twelve tribes as "spies" and them not seeing all of the details--only the basics. Using recent celebrity suicides as an example, he says that we do not always really know what is going on with people and need to be more observant and aware of what is going on--not just on the surface.Archive Details
