Rabbi Ingber talks about motivating people--whether they are friends, children, coworkers, whomever. To show how not to do it, he tells the story of the eighth day of celebration of the building of the tabernacle when two of Aaron's children die tragically. Rather than console Aaron and his remaining sons, he degrades them for not following through with part of the ritual for the tabernacle. Aaron rebukes him, and Moses sees his mistake. Rabbi Ingber says the lesson is a person needs to "connect before they correct."Archive Details
