Sermon : Parshat Terumah 2017 March 03Entry/Object ID
rdi-2017.03.03Scope and Content
Rabbi Ingber points out that it is Sanctuary Shabbat, and talks about how children see things in dichotomies of good and bad, black and grey. He then goes on to discuss the difference in the way Rashi and Maimonides interpret the timeline of the building of the tabernacle in the Torah. Rabbi Ingber finds merit in both arguments and uses this as a way to say that there can be differences of opinion, but the most important part is that there was a community. And that being part of a community and keeping it together is the most important lesson to take. This appears to be a not so subtle message to those with differing political viewpoints within Romemu.Archive Details
