Sermon : Parshat Tsav 2018 March 23Entry/Object ID
rdi-2018.03.23Scope and Content
For Shabbat Hagadol, Rabbi Ingber breaks down the origin of words, beginning with religion and how it means "to connect;" and then discusses "gid" and other words. He alludes to the Torah passage that says the God of Egypt was to be brought into the home for four days and how the priests lift up the ashes from the sacrifice on the alter and not dispose of them as they still contained holiness. He then discusses the etymology of the word children in Hebrew and how they are the ones who actually lead the way and not adults.Archive Details
