Rabbi Ingber continues the story of Moses by focusing on his resistance to being the voice of God. And when he finally does go to the Israelites, Moses experiences "the exile of the word." He "gives breath to a starved people." Rabbi Ingber says Moses came with words of "yes," but they were the people of "no." In that we, he liberated them from the "no." Ingber says to "listen for the yes" by listening to those without power. He says the purpose of Judaism is to become more attentive and attuned to God's voice within and listen for the "yes."Archive Details
