rdi-2019.01.04Scope and Content
Rabbi Ingber discusses being able to take advice and ask for directions. This is spoken in the context of Moses trying to convince the Israelites to listen to him and that they need to leave to be free. But they point out that their lives got worse when he appeared to them and not better. God told Moses to tell them his name in a different context than what was revealed to Jacob, et al previously. Taking from Rashi, it was that it takes time for things to change and they need to be patient. The change might not even be in their lifetimes, but it will eventually come.Archive Details
