Scope and Content

Rabbi Ingber explains that his sermon is heavily influenced by the poet Mark Nepo, who has a couple of poems featured in the sermon. He also alludes heavily to the events at the summer Olympics that are happening at the time and the controversies occurring during it. He ties this to the after effects of Tish B'Av and the comforts of Tu B'av and seeking love. He also discusses Moses asking God for what he wants most and being denied. The goals people want might not always be what they really need.
