Using the wedding tradition of circling as a jumping off point for having blind spots, Rabbi Ingber speaks of his blind spot he had in the current Torah portion. He says he had always focused on the aspect of Abraham interrupting God to be hospitable to guests; but the real story may be that Abraham was recovering from his circumcision and still took care of the guests. The lesson being that when you are at your most helpless is when you need to be helpful and welcoming.Archive Details
