Red, blue, and white geometric float work coverlet with exceptional added leno fringe. Two loom widths sewn together, selvedge to selvedge. Body of coverlet 65" x 88"
Top hem 1/4 inch hand sewn rolled hem. Three sides 6 1/2 inch triple layer leno fringe in red, blue, and white, added on selvedge sides, self fringe at bottom.
Condition: Very good; small areas of wear on fringe, small areas of loss on coverlet.
Provenance: From the lifetime collection of the late Audree and Bryce Chase (Port Royal, South Carolina). Purchased at auction 3/21/2025 from Amelia Jeffers Auctioneer & Appraiser, Columbus Ohio.Condition
