The System 3000A transceiver featured 20 front panel programmable memory channels, a band scanner that covered 144-147.995 MHz in 5kHz steps, and completely flexible repeater offsets. The receiver had a 5-pole front-end filter, and a 10-pole filter in the IF. Output from the transmitter was 25 watts. It was manufactured by Edgecom, Inc. in Torrance, California.
