Note
Kaar Engineering's nine-tube receiver covered 0.54-42 MHz in four bands. It had mechanical band spread and an S-meter. A "universal" power transformer allowed operation from line voltages of 110, 120, 150, 210, and 230 VAC at 40-60 Hz.
