Ham Radio, Apr 1974, p. 95. The Spec-2 synthesized two meter transceiver used an RP electronics MFA-22 synthesizer. The remainder of the transmitter and receiver components were from Motorola. The Spec-2 had two watts output and covered 144-147.99 MHz.
