Hammarlund advertised the HQ-105TR as a “Citizen-Ham Band Transceiver.” Its general-coverage receiver tuned from .54–30 MHz and the unit also contained a 5 watt, crystal-controlled AM phone transmitter for the Citizens’ Band. It could be retuned for use on the 10 meter amateur band as well. The receiver portion of the HQ-105TR was similar to Hammarlund’s HQ-100.
Replaced by the updated HQ-205.
