Single conversion superheterodyne. Replaces the S-53A. Features include bandspread, built-in speaker, BFO, ANL, variable sensitivity, tone control, and phono input. Note the gaps on coverage.
The SX-107 was made in two versions, referred to as Mark l and Mark ll. There were a few small differences:
Mark l has a 2-prong headphone jack, and a spreker-phone switch.
Mark ll has a 1//4 inch phone jack, no speaker-phone switch, no phono input jack, and adds an external amp jack.
Coverage: 540 to 1630 kHz, 2.5 to 31 MHz, 48 to 54.5 MHz
IF: 455 kHz
