The SX-140 receiver was part of the “Halli-Kit” AM/CW station. It matched the HT-40 and gave coverage of the 80–6 meter amateur bands. Its IF was 1650 kHz with a crystal filter.
Available as a kit or fully assembled. A single conversion superheterodyne circuit covering the HF ham bands plus six meters, with a 25:1 tuning ratio.
Features include a headphone jack, RF gain, BFO, ANL, mute line, antenna trimmer, crystal calibrator, and standby switch.
The rear panel features screw terminals for: speaker, antenna/ground and T/R switching. Requires external 3.2Ω speaker.
