The "B" ($87.50) and "C" ($117.50) versions, both released in 1950, were named "Bandmaster Junior" and "Bandmaster Senior" respectively.

The Senior version included a modulator, which was also sold separately and could be purchased (for $15.50) to upgrade a Junior.
The "D" version ($137.50), also released in 1950, included everything in the "A," "B," and "C" versions and added crystal microphone amplifier (CMA-50, $22.00). The amp could be purchased separately to upgrade any of the other versions.
All versions require and external power supply. The APS-50 (120 VAC) or the VPS-50 (6 VDC) were designed specifically for the Bandmasters.
A dynamotor power supply (DPS-50) was also available ($87.50).
