QST, Jul 1964, p. 131. QST, Apr 1965, p. 125. Good photo and specs. QST, Jan 1966, p. 107. QST, Mar 1967, p. 135. QST, Jul 1971, p. 114. (these could be remainders) The SS-1V Video Bandscanner was made to use with the Squires-Sanders SS-1R or SS-IBS receivers. It could display all signals on the 500 kHz band segment in use or narrow its scope to only 4 kHz. It could also be used to analyze both received and transmitted signals. The SS-1V had 14 tubes and a dozen solid-state diodes.
