First commercially available CW keyboard. The KB-1 was a little smaller than a modern computer keyboard (5” x 10”) and its layout was similar to, but not exactly the same as, a standard typewriter. It had no shift key or space bar, but Morse pro-signs such as AR and SK were included. An operator could send perfect, correctly spaced characters on its button-like keys.
