General Notes

Note

The SB-600 station speaker was introduced in 1966 as the first of a line of matching accessories for the SB (and HW) series rigs. The SB-600 contains only a six-by-nine-inch, 8Ω speaker. The rest of the cabinet is empty but is designed to hold the HP-23 series of power supplies for use with the SB/HW series of transceivers. There are holes in the bottom of the cabinet permitting the power supply to be secured with screws. The SB-600 is finished in Heath’s standard two-tone green wrinkle paint. Still highly sought after. See also HS-34. Last advertised in the winter 1976 catalog as a companion for the SB-313. References: Review. QST. Sep 1966, p. 49.
