Narrow band FM, CW, and provisions for AM, on 5 bands.
The HT -19 consists of a VFO (ECO or Pierce crystal), a frequency modulator with speech amplifier, RF buffer and final amplifier. The 4-65A in the final output stage provides 125 watts output. Features high stability and extremely low FM distortion. Pilot lights for filament and plate power. Temperature compensation and voltage regulator for oscillator stability. Includes a 5 -position switch for 3 crystals, VFO, or NBFM;
Frequency coverage:
3.5-4.0 MHz
7.0-7.3 MHz
14.0-14.4 MHz
21.0-21.45 MC MHz
27.16-29.7 MHz
Only partially band switching as the final coils must be manually changed inside the unit. Note that all five coil assemblies are stored inside. Check switch turns on "spotting" signal. Plate switch for "B" power and makes remote control connections; power switch in line; Oscillator plate tuning for oscillator gang and calibrated dial. Push-button reads plate milliamperes. External connestions: Mic connector; keying terminals; 50-600 ohm output; 6 terminals for remoting; 4 terminals for applying AM from an external modulator.
"Aerodized" cabinet with satin gray finish, chrome and black knobs.
Tubes: (3) 6BA6 oscillator, FM, and speech amp; (1) 6L6 Buffer; (1) 4-65A output; (1) VR-150, (1) VR-105; (1) 5Y3GT, (2) 866.
Size: 20" x 10" x 18" deep.
